The TELA/TTLA is an international research project in order to make an inventory of the theatres in Latin America. The organization of meetings that promote the exchange and discussion of knowledge in this area are part of the preliminary program of the TELA/TTLA project. In this sense, a 1st International Colloquium will be held in Portugal on the theme:
THE INFLUENCE OF THEATRE, DANCE AND MUSIC IN PORTUGAL AND SPAIN IN THE 16TH TO 18TH CENTURIES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF SCENIC SPACES IN LATIN AMERICA

This scientific meeting is part of a multidisciplinary approach, with the participation of experts from different fields of knowledge, such as architecture, history, theatre, dance, music and anthropology, and has an international reach accredited by the presence of members of institutions from 11 countries.

We would like to have your presence in order to bring us your experience, vision and knowledge in the subject areas around the theme of this colloquium. Each participant has 20 minutes to present a brief communication, which can be supported by images (video, powerpoint or other). The organization pays accommodation and transfer from Lisbon to Setubal, and we should all be in Lisbon on the morning of Thursday 4 before 14:00 p.m.

This Colloquium will be produced by the Estudio Fontenova of Setubal in collaboration with the CIAUD – Research Center in Architecture, Urbanism and Design of the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon (FA-ULisboa), Setubal Municipal Council and OISTAT SPAIN – International Organization of Scenographers, Theatre Architects and Technicians.
