OISTAT Seed Money Grant Guidelines

OISTAT offers two types of grants: OISTAT Seed Money Grant and OISTAT Project Grant. Both grants are allocated to projects that support OISTAT mission and are for the benefit of the worldwide theatre community.

OISTAT Seed Money Grant

 

Application Eligibility: OISTAT Members
 
Grant Amount:

OISTAT will fund Seed Money Grants to a maximum of 1,000 Euro each project.

 
Criteria

1.    Grant application must be supported by one of the OISTAT Commissions or Sub-commissions. 
2.    OISTAT Seed Money Grant is meant to help the project director seek additional funding
       from other sources. 
3.    OISTAT Seed Money Grant is for project that:
    i.    encompass multiple commission disciplines and/or include the work of multiple cultures
           are encouraged.
    ii.   seek new knowledge through experimentation, research, or the collection of resources
           that will promote new ideas, new ways of working together.
    iii.  demonstrate originality, creativity, and innovation;
    iv.   improve or enhance contemporary approaches to theatre design, technology, education,
           research and architecture. 
    v.   brings OISTAT members together to experience the benefit of the project.
 

Rules

1.    The funding must be completed in the same year or the following year. Applicants should allow sufficient time to plan, implement, close out their project. 
2.    When funded, projects need to acknowledge OISTAT and Headquarters’ official government supporter(s) in all printed and online media.
3.    The project must follow OISTAT Adjudication Policy and OISTAT Inclusion policy.

OISTAT Seed Money Grant Timeline

The application of Seed Money Grant must be submitted to OISTAT Headquarters headquarters@oistat.org by August 31 to be reviewed by OISTAT Executive Committee.

 
OISTAT Seed Money Grant Application Deadline: August 31
 

The project report should be submitted the OISTAT Headquarters no later than November 30 in the year the project is finished.

 


Application

Applications should consist of the following:

1.    A completed OISTAT Seed Money Grant Application Form
2.    A Grant Proposal Narrative with a detailed description


Project Report

The project report should be submitted the OISTAT Headquarters no later than November 30 in the year the project is finished.

Project report should consist of the following: 

* Note: If the project is granted, OISTAT may use the text, photos and pictures of the project report for non-commercial purposes that support the mission of the organization
