Author’s Approach to Teaching Scenography, Performance Design and Theatre Technology

This conference aims to provide a forum for sharing ideas of how authors approach in design for performance impacts educational methods. It invites colleagues to share their views and examine the correlations between artist’s practice and teaching. The forum seeks to explore how artistic achievements and challenges can inspire and inform academic practice and research at post-graduate, graduate and under-graduate levels.

  • Scenofest planning – Cynthia Limauro ( Project Leader), Jessica Bowles, Chris Popovitch (Scenofest Organizing Team). Overview of the program planning, followed by discussion.

  • Cooperation between EduCom and the TT Commission - Technical Theatre educational projects – short presentation by Ivo Kaersmaekers, Chair of TTC, followed by discussion
  • Conclusion of the meeting

13:30-18:00 Visit to the Studio of Moscow Art Theatre, Department of Set Design and Department of Costume Design.
Meeting with D. Krimov (curator of the Russian exhibit at PQ’07, Golden Triga award)
