At the Sound Design Group meeting in World Stage Design 2013, Cardiff, UK, Joe Pino (USA) is elected to the Head of group, and George Christou (Cyprus) the Associate Head. The former Head of Sound Design Group was Steven Brown, who has passed away in 2013. His great effort to OISTAT will always been remembered.
Joe Pino is a sound designer based in USA, he is also an associate professor and co-coordinator of the Design program at the Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama in Pittsburgh, PA. We look forward to his leading and future development of OISTAT Sound Design Group.
