Background Information
The operational goal of Northern Miaoli Art Center is to be a grand garden of arts which provides visitors a good range of artistic activities through the elaborate annual programs. It is aimed for the creation of performances and exhibitions, the facilitation of international cooperation, the cultivation of theatre professionals, as well as the promotion of arts education and leisure life. Northern Miaoli Art Center is expected to be an important venue for the promotion of local culture and the public arts education.

Design concept
Northern Miaoli Art Center is located at the north of the Jhunan Sports Park in Miaoli County. Situated among the mountains and inspired by the scenery image, Northern Miaoli Art Center is designed to be a multi-level construction with rich cultural connotation as its surroundings.
