CALL FOR PAPERS
Dear Colleagues and Friends:
Further to the invitation sent on behalf of Korean Center of OISTAT (KTAA), Korean Theatre Studies Association (KTSA), and OISTAT History and Theory Commission, please find the following call for papers for the KTAA/KTSA/OISTAT Scenography Symposium 2009 in Seoul, KOREA.
Scenography, Performance, and Theatricality.
Date & Time: September 19, 2009 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Place: Drama Center (TBC)
An invited panel with discussion is also being organized on the morning of Sunday 20th September by Dorita Hannah under the theme DEFINING WORLD SCENOGRAPHY: Designs performing the local within a global imaginary which you are cordially invited to attend.
As in Helsinki in June 2008, OISTAT History & Theory Commission is again pleased to collaborate with hosting institutions and with other OISTAT commissions in organizing stimulating events that may produce papers and presentations for potential publication – on the OISTAT website or in print.
There is an additional opportunity for delegates to make short presentations in a shared session between OISTAT H&TC, Scenography and Education Commissions on the morning of Friday 18 September under either of the above themes.
Please advise both SungChul Kim and Kate Burnett if you wish to attend the above meetings and particularly if you wish to present papers as soon as possible, but no later than 30th June 2009. Please send abstracts for papers / presentations also by this date.
We intend to make a programme for the above events. Please send your papers no later than July 31, 2009 by e-mail:
