Technology Commission Meeting held May 29 – 31 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, in conjunction with the Opera Europe meeting
The Schouwburg Rotterdam and the OISTAT Dutch Centre/VPT, together with Technology Commission, co-organized the annual Technology Commission meeting in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. In addition to the re-election of chair, Ivo Kersmaekers (Belgium), the commission also discussed the progress of the Technical Invention Prize (TIP), the Support to Practitioners Project, and other relevant projects during the business meetings.
A new project is launched: the Eco-Friendly Theatre Committee.
A joint meeting with the technical production forum of Opera Europa was also held, discussing the TC projects as well as the DTW.
Backstage tours to Rotterdam theatres – Stadsschouwburg – Luxor and Amsterdam were arranged for OISTAT TC delegates.
