
The 2007 OISTAT Congress was held in Prague and attended by more than 120 members from all over the world. This is the first congress since OISTAT Secretariat relocated to Taiwan. In addition, this is the first Congress include the participation of Associate members (the Associate Member category was created at the closing of the 2005 Congress). The Congress opened with a welcome by President Michael Ramsaur (United States), and the State of the Organization addressed by Executive Committee Member, Leon Brauner (United States).
During the formal General Congress, OISTAT Applicant Members, Brazil and Cyprus made spirited presentations to the Congress. The Governing Board, later approved the Brazilian and Cypriot Centres be for candidate status as OISTAT Centres.
