Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
Dear Members of OISTAT Architecture Commission,

we would like to invite you to the lectures which we can offer during the PQ 2007 – Prague Quadriennale in the architects forum on Friday 15th June 2007

Lecture 1

“Hans Otto Theatre” at Potsdam
Germanys newest theatre building, opened in late 2006. Exhibited at Theatre architecture national section of PQ is presented by the architect.

Prof. Gottfried Böhm, Cologne
Gottfried Böhm, * 1920 is German Architect and sculpturer. Up to now he is the only laureate, who received the Pritzker-Prize, one of the most recognized awards in architecture.

Black Box and white cube
Development, questions and answers

Prof. Host Birr, Berlin
Horst Birr is architect, working in the theatre field

Lecture 3

The Festspielhaus Hellerau – Adolphe Appias White box after reconversion
Built by Heinrich Tessenow in 1911 it was the meeting point of Europs avant-garde. 1945 the Russian Red Army took over the building and gave it back in 1992. Since that the building has been reconstructed.

since 1992 Freelancer for different projects in Theatre, TV and especially exhibitions throughout Europe.
2004 – 2005 Freelancer for some projects in South Africa (mostly TV)
since 2005 Project engineer - MA Lighting Int. Paderborn (Germany)

Lecture 5

New ideas for the horizontal movement on stage. A view from the history into the future

And after the lectures…..
At 18:00 there will be the prize-giving ceremony for 7th OISTAT Theatre Architecture Competition in Central Hall, close to “Babel Tower.”  Drinks, snacks, discussion, networking….
